We are excited to announce that the Gold Eagle company, makers of STA-BIL, will be showing Lawnmower Racing Mania 2007^TM in their booth at the AAPEX/SEMA show in Las Vegas.  The AAPEX/SEMA show is the largest automotive show in the world, and one of the largest trade shows booked into Las Vegas.

The show runs from October 31st to November 2nd.

Weekend chore turned competitive sport now a videogame

Glenview, IL - – Grab the controller, fire up the Xbox and empty the grass clippings, the new ‘Lawnmower Racing Mania 2007’ videogame is soon to be kicking grass at retailers nationwide.

‘Lawnmower Racing Mania 2007’ puts players in the driver’s seat of the world’s fastest racing lawn mowers while capturing the excitement and bizarre world of the U.S. Lawn Mower Racing Association (USLMRA).  It’s a cross between NASCAR and dirt-track racing,”said Bruce “Mr. Mow It All” Kaufman, USLMRA president.  “You can master a variety of racing styles from ultra-tight oval tracks like the Springfield Sod Sling to long road rallies like the Corn & Tater Cross Country.  It’s much more exciting than watching the crab grass take over your lawn!”

Available for Xbox and PC, ‘Lawnmower Racing Mania 2007’ features:   

• 18 race tracks in six unique environments including:  Wally's Wild Oval, Turfmaster Classic, Shantytown Mowdown, Plumpydome Challenge,  Bawb's Mow for the Muskie, Busted Bomber Speedway, Pinecone Cabin Invitational, Slackjaw Creek Rally and the STA-BIL USLMRA Nationals.
• Racing against Turf Titans such as Angelina Mowlie, Turfinator, Lawn Ranger, Sodzilla, Weedy Gonzales, Ace of Blades, Mr. Mowjangles  and Geronimow.
• Innovative body-lean control to gain peak performance of your mower.  Lean into a turn to prevent tipping, or lean back over the rear wheels to increase grip.
  
• Ability to customize your mower to squeeze out the best performance on a given track.
• Up to four players in split-screen multiplayer mode.
• Circuit, multiplayer and free-mowin’ modes.

Sod warriors compete for trophies, glory and bragging rights, or “brags” which players accumulate to move up in the standings or add performance enhancements to their tricked-out mowers.

The USLMRA sanctions the STA-BIL National Lawn Mower Racing Series, a 17-event points race circuit, the annual Labor Day weekend STA-BIL Keeps Gas Fresh Finals and Challenge of Champions and 20 Local Chapters hosting more than 110 sanctioned races year-round hosted by fairs, festivals, non-profit groups and racetracks.  

The STA-BIL National Lawn Mower Racing Series features riding lawn mowers racing in four road track classes matching the nation's fastest lawn mower racers at speeds up to 60 mph in deck-to-deck bladeless competition to determine the ultimate Titans of the Turf.  All cutting blades are removed for safety.  There is no purse money as racers compete for trophies, glory and bragging rights.  A sense of humor is not required, but strongly encouraged.
