eVIG: eV Interactive Image Generator |
|
eVIG is a low-cost image generation system designed for simulation, modeling and training in both commercial and military applications. Based on our consumer game engine, eVIG is designed to harness the full power of today's sophisticated, yet affordable, PC graphics accelerators. Because eVIG is based on the same engine that drives our consumer games, it is constantly being enhanced and optimized to provide exceptional performance at a reasonable cost. Products from larger defense-oriented companies tend to make technological advances at a slower rate. The consumer market is not so friendly. We are forced to continually update our technology to compete with the rapid advances in the consumer marketplace. Users of eVIG benefit from this fierce competition.
eVIG requires only a modest investment in hardware. Most entry-level desktop and laptop PCs are well capable of running one or two out-the-window views at 60Hz. Our minumum recommended system is as follows: - Pentium III or better at 733MHz or faster
Nvidia GeForce 2 or ATI Radeon level 3D graphics accelerator with 32 Meg RAM 128 Meg system RAM
Features Include: - Easy to use API with simple state-based interface.
Extensive library of support routines. Support for compressed textures. Parallel thread texture cache for seamless background texture loads. Support for multiple, independant views. Entity management system: Position, orientation Dead Reckoning Threat domes, sensor FOV, and sensor sweep visualizations Flagpole, Icon and text labels Support for multiple texture types including: Phototexture Maps (TPC, ONC) IR Imagery Any other user source |
